O.S. Engines in Japan have announced their new truggy motor, the Max-25XZ.
With the rules set for truggy racing, O.S. set out to make an extremely balanced,
powerful and fuel efficient engine. The first thing was to reduce the capacity from
.28 to .25 (4.09cc) which helped to make a more fuel efficient, lightweight engine
with an improved centre of gravity. This short stroke engine claims a maximum
power output of 3.1bhp at 33,000rpm and is supplied with a double adjustable
carburetor to be able to fine tune the entire power range.
